Meta Portfolio Site Update to Version 1.1
I decided I will start logging my portfolio changes, to keep track of it over time. I originally threw the site up quickly because working on your portfolio site is never complete as many of you may know. It never seems good enough, or ready. But in that sense I will never actually put anything out for the public view, so I launched it anyway. I am glad I did, and now I am ready to start working on version 1.1. Here are the items I want to fix in the next update:
- Better styling of posts
- When I click on a post it should open the post alone, right now it throws an error.
- On google, when you type ‘larry buffaloboy’ it says ‘Blog Template’ for my site, probably a small fix (page title)
- Page could use a background of some sort. More of a distinction between left and right sides.
- Resume should be included somewhere
- Favicon not showing up
- Contact page, or dialog box could be useful
- Images are not centering
- Styling of the post text is out of wack, or at least lacks uniformity.
This is a sort of thrown together list, I don’t have any new features currently. I have some ideas for a later version with a new feature or two, but this will do for now. Here is some pictures of the current site, so I have a record for later:
